Mirette Kangas, Director of Business Excellence at Elisa – Transformation Superpowers

When the competition is complex, and there is a demand for rapid change, how do we get desired outcomes or impacts fast? Can we speed up development at organizations? How do we practically take innovations into daily business? We need the most essential agile superpowers to lead the change: feedback loops, a culture of experimentation, and a growth mindset. This is one approach to keep the mind optimistic and innovative towards the unknown future!

Mirette has previously spoken about: “It´s an ultramarathon. 10 key lessons learned about lean-agile transformation as a change leader” and this talk will be a bit deeper!

Mirette Kangas is one of Finland's leading experts and pioneers in Lean-Agile business culture, so Mirette holds high credibility. She is well-known as a speaker and workshop facilitator. Her work has inspired dozens of companies across industries to adopt an agile corporate culture, leadership, and experimentation culture.

Mirette works at Elisa as a Director of Business Excellence, focusing on improving business outcomes and fostering a culture of experimentation.

Before that, she worked at KONE as a global Lean and Agile operating model owner. She founded Yle 's (Finnish national media company) Lean-Agile Culture Accelerator and influenced and led the transformation from traditional to Lean-Agile for over ten years. Co-founder of streaming service Yle Areena. Before that, Mirette worked at Nokia and Sanoma Group. An amateur violinist, a musician at heart.

Anand Nicodemus, Global Director, Lean & CI at Fluor Corporation – LPPD and Agile – Similarities and Differences

An interesting discussion is comparing Lean Product and Process Development and Agile. What are the similarities? What are the differences? Annand has researched the topic deeply and will present his view of the topic
