Join us in this interactive Knowledge Exchange between Christer Lundh, Aufero and our Peter Palmér focusing on Extreme Ownership.

For the upcoming LPPDE conference Christer Lundh, conference chair, chose the theme “Exteme Ownership” inspired by the book Extreme Ownership: How U.S. Navy SEALs Lead and Win by Jocko Willink and Leif Babin. Christer wants to stress the need of creating outstanding teams who really own their activities and develop new products in a more flexible and faster way.

During the Knowledge Exchange we will reflect on different aspects of Extreme Ownership and Christer will share examples where he has used these aspects in his own leadership which spans over more than twenty years and various companies.

We hope you all Lean and Agile Product Development Practitioners will join us on LPPDE Europe 2023 in-person Forum in Munich, Germany, on April 24-26.

The forum focuses on Extreme Ownership as the theme. We will put the finger on the leaders’ abilities to lead their team, and with common efforts together win on any challenge. Leadership is essential for all organizations that aim for transformation in the new age of cloud, partnership, platforms, networks, ecosystems and collaboration. During the forum we will refer to and share these important insights.

The agenda can be found on our website www.lppde.org

Extreme Ownership: How U.S. Navy SEALs Lead and Win by Jocko Wilnick and Leif Babin

Two U.S. Navy SEAL officers who led the most highly decorated special forces unit of the Ira.

War demonstrate how to apply powerful leadership principles from the battlefield to business and life. Combat, the most intense and dynamic environment imaginable, teaches the toughest leadership lessons, with absolutely everything at stake. Jocko Willink and Leif Babin learned this reality first-hand on the most violent and dangerous battlefield in Iraq. As leaders of SEAL Team Three’s Task Unit Bruiser, their mission was one many thought impossible: help U.S. forces secure Ramadi, a violent, insurgent-held city deemed “all but lost.” In gripping, firsthand accounts of heroism, tragic loss, and hard-won victories, they learned that leadership―at every level―is the most important factor in whether a team succeeds or fails.
