John Quirke is a Partner at the leading International Lean & Business Transformation Consultancy SA Partners LLP. He led the international Life science business. He also led and manage the Irish cross sector consultancy practice. He became involved with operational excellence and business transformation from his early career in health safety and environmental management. This is still at the core of what he believes. He thinks we have a duty to do what we do in business with the least impact on our environment and at minimum risk to our employees and colleagues while maximizing value to our customers.

Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and other new technologies are dramatically changing industry and the nature of work. These disruptions will dramatically transform our world in the decades to come.

This will also disrupt people’s livelihoods. They promise dramatic increases in productivity, and at the same time the danger of automating waste and alienating our teams. How do we reassure and inspire our teams to embrace these changes, while honoring their collaboration and expertise?

He will share Trident Refit Facility Bangor’s twenty year journey to understand how to:

Vincent Stamper is the Trident Refit Facility Bangor (TRFB) Transformation Program Manager. He leads Lean Process Improvement, Moonshine rapid prototyping, and New Technology deployment. With a team of three assigned and eight imbedded Black Belts (BB’s), twenty-eight imbedded (GB’s), they transformation for the Pacific Strategic Deterrence Mission.

Vince enlisted as a Nuclear Machinist Mate in 1987, submarines, serving on the USS Louisville, Gurnard, Whale and Finback. He qualified through Engineering Watch Supervisor, and Diving Officer, as well as Nuclear Repair Welder and Scuba Diver.

He began civil service in 2001. In 2004 he was certified as a NAVSEA Lean Six Sigma BB and founded the TRFB Lean Office.

He was a member of Steve Denning's Learning Consortium (Microsoft, Ericsson, Barclays, Spotify, Riot Games, ...) and one of the leaders of a large Lean/Agile/DevOps transformation journey involving 2000 people in 10 sites in 3 countries over 7 years. Erik is currently leading Erlang Solutions Nordic in succeeding together with customers through skilled and experienced consultants, innovative services & products, engaging training, swift support and inspiring conferences - thereby also evolving the Erlang/Elixir open-source software eco-system for delivering 2x faster, 10x better, 10x safer, and, 10x more for 10x less. He is the author of the widely acclaimed books The Art of Strategy – Steps Towards Business Agility and The Art of Leadership – Purpose and Integrity for Sustainable Success, both published by Yokoso Press.
