All that is good, maybe we earlier too much have been prioritizing output over outcome, potentially overlooking the product's purpose and the problems we aim to solve for our customers. But what about the enhancement of individual technical skills? Are we neglecting something today that could cost us tomorrow?

This is an example of developing a new and quicker product together with designers, the product had been a repeatable product, a tool had previously taken 2 weeks to design, manufacture, and get to the customer, Working with the teams, to look at the customer point of view I would like the product quicker, how could we achieve this taking out waste within the process? Working with the teams implemented a three-level process for the time scale process, gold you pay a bit more, one day, silver a few days, and bronze for one week, the process is still faster.

Sandra McCabe is an experienced, qualified professional, who enjoys challenges to achieve and meet strategic goals, driving culture change and continuous improvement, an experienced senior leader, with a proven results record, and a portfolio of evidenced-based results. With a passion to support others to achieve goals, and have personal growth through mentoring, coaching, and training with teams.

Within all roles held in her career, responsible for production efficiencies (KPIs), Engineering improvements, new machine implementation, and relaying of shopfloor or processes. Making improvements on machine processes, always with a technical efficiency improvement mindset and can-do attitude.

Sandra is a qualified professional in Advance Operations Management Degree, Change Management Degree, Executive Management Degree (post-grad master) Emotional Intelligence Degree (distinction), Continuous Improvement Degree (BSI Practitioner, self-motivated, with a can-do approach. Experienced in working with many market leaders within multi businesses, Toyota, Nissan, and Colgate, to name a few, with over 20 years within manufacturing, and engineering, an improver of customer relationships.

Key skills gained through implementing her knowledge and experience: leader, author of the training packs, presenter, project leader on sole projects, facilitating teams to drive improvements, mentoring, risk assessments, risk analysis plans, communication plans, coaching being the sole owner to train and implement, utilizing lean tools.

Christer Lundh, Founder and President at AUFERO – Ways R&D Managers Get the Engineers to Learn Faster, Thus More

The presentation aims to provide guidance to R&D managers. Give some effective examples on ways to support the engineers, so they learn faster and thus more. Development has a knowledge issue. Development is learning and coming to master something new. One among other effective ways to become masters is to shorten the feedback cycle. It makes a big difference in the learning process. This and more will be shared in this presentation.

Christer Lundh is president of AUFERO, a consultant firm that helps senior leaders and development teams to benefit from small low-cost iterations that remove a lot of risk. Christer has built his expertise from extensive practice. He provides transformations, strategic projects and personal advice, within product flow management, advisor on leadership, and interim senior manager. He is a board member at LPPDE.org. He is a passionate leader who creates flow of new products and innovations together with customers.
