Siego de Sitter, Interim Manager and Consultant at CRAFT Lean Management – Back to the Basics, Lean NPD for Scale Ups

In this presentation, Siego explores how the root causes of project delays are closely linked to a company’s stage of development. What challenges do start-ups face? Which issues are typical for scale-ups? And how do these challenges evolve as organizations mature?

While every company is unique, clear patterns can be observed. Siego categorizes these patterns into three key domains: processes, planning, and people. Although solutions are always tailored to the specific context, they tend to fall within these same domains.

His central proposition is that many organizations benefit from combining more traditional Lean NPD (New Product Development) tools with selected elements from agile methodologies.

Siego de Sitter has over 30 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and began his career in the aerospace sector, later expanding into consumer products. Throughout his career, he has been involved in numerous projects and product launches.

Siego has worked both as a project manager and a line manager, giving him a well-rounded perspective on product development and organizational dynamics. Since 2005, he has been deeply engaged in Lean, applying a wide range of principles and methodologies in practice.

In 2013, he developed a unique training program that helps him stay closely connected to the real-world challenges companies face. He has a strong interest in identifying recurring patterns in these challenges and has developed a keen sense for how improvement methodologies can be effectively implemented.

Since 2021, Siego has been working as a freelance consultant on various assignments in the machinery sector. He is currently focused on streamlining product development processes at an electric bicycle manufacturer.

Mattias Tronje, Founder & Architect at AgileMinds Academy – Developing AI Trainings

This presentation is about the developing of AI trainings with the help of AI agents – what worked what does not work in an iterative process.

Mattias Tronje leads organizational design and change at enterprise level in companies reshaping work in step with AI. Drawing on experience from organizations ranging from 300 to 10,000+ employees across automotive, finance, and insurance, he designs how people and AI collaborate — practices, roles, decision paths, and governance — turning the technology's potential into measurable business outcomes. He builds change capability as an ongoing organizational capacity, not as time-bound projects.

What Mattias brings to the AI era is a clear lens on how work is changing: AI takes over tasks, not whole jobs — which means organizations need to redesign who does what, how decisions get made, and how people build new capabilities as the technology evolves. He pairs analytical clarity with hands-on execution. As founder of AgileMinds Academy, he also runs his own AI-augmented workflows — a living lab for the methods he recommends to clients.
