Stephen Young, Business Coach at Kick-start Medical Ltd – The Basics of Value Engineering

About 10 years ago, maybe more, I was shown the methodology for value engineering. At the time it was like someone had turned a switch on and finally I saw a way to solve multiple business needs using the same tool. I have used value engineering or parts of the methodology to minimize complexity, reduce cost and support risk management, but this is the tip of the iceberg for my all-time favorite methodology. I am so looking forward to sharing my experiences on the 4th June and hopefully I will turn on a few switches in your heads too.

Stephen Young is a motivational leader, results driven and people oriented. He is a business entrepreneur who formulates inspirational strategy and the framework to which it will be delivered. Stephen is a versatile executive with a proven track record of delivering positive change within medical device, gas analysis and semiconductor industries. He is a specialist in business wide LEAN implementation including new product development, office and manufacturing and a lecturer for Cranfield University.
